 HAMILTON COLLEGE SPORTS INFORMATION INTERN

Hamilton College is seeking applications for a sports information internship. This position will serve as the primary assistant to the sports information director. Hamilton College is located in Clinton, N.Y., and has 28 intercollegiate varsity sports. The College is affiliated with NCAA Division III. Responsibilities include web site maintenance, publication design, writing press releases, updating and maintaining statistics and records, attendance at home events and certain events away from the College, completing NCAA, Liberty League, and New England Small College Athletic Conference reports, and other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field. Applicant must be proficient in InDesign software. Strong writing and communication skills are essential. Experience in a sports information or media relations department is preferred. This is a nine-month internship that is scheduled to begin September 1. Stipend of $10,000 and a meal plan. Applications will be accepted until June 30.
